Sa'eed bin Aamir ad-Dab'ee, the Scholar of al-Basrah (d. 208H)
Abdur-Rahmaan bin Abee Haatim said: My father narrated to me, saying: It was narrated to me about Sa'eed bin Aamir ad-Dab'ee, that he mentioned the Jahmiyyah and said:
Their speech is more evil than that of the Jews and Christians, for the Jews and the Christians, and the people of (other) religions, have agreed with the Muslims that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, is above the Throne. [But] they said, "He is not above anything."
